Celebrant Services

Hello!

I really love working with couples and families to write ceremonies that are rich with personal meaning.

Based in Margaret River, I love ceremonies that give audiences a moment to connect to nature and their beautiful surroundings, to each other, and to the present moment. It is incredible how the right ceremony can set the tone for everyone feeling comfortable and creating lasting memories together.

I'm passionate about the evolution of ceremony, the meaning behind marriage, committment and memorial services in our changing culture (for example, equal marriage legalisation in Australia). My background in psychology helps me to take special care to understand what your special ceremony means to you, and to translate this into an experience that the audience can share.

Rituals, symbols and ceremony are one of humanity's powerful tools to unite communities, create memories for celebration and healing. Please reach out if you would like to have a chat about how I can help bring your ceremony to life.

Weddings

Scott + Megan by Matsu _ Munro-219.jpg

Megan & Scott's Wedding

Megan & Scott held their September ceremony in a kaleidoscope of gorgeous spring flowers. They included a Welcome to Country and special moment to appreciate the Wandandi Djilba season.

For Megan & Scott, it was particularly important for their ceremony to celebrate their passions and charactistics as individuals that strengthened their relationship; and to get the audience to be active, cheering, co-creators of the ceremony space.

Steph & Keegan's Wedding

Steph & Keegan held their wedding at an incredible French chateau, symbolically located between the couple's home countries of Australia and Canada.

For Steph and Keegan, a sense of tradition, family connection and legacy was important to communicate through their ceremony. They included a hand-fasting ceremony paying homage to Keegan's Scottish heritage, accompanied by a family member's heart-felt (and tear-jerking!) reading.

Frankie & Zem's Wedding

Frankie & Zem held their Gracetown, Margaret River ceremony on a beautifully warm Kambarang day. Their classic green and white colour theme (complete with moss-covered logs!) gave their celebration a feel of enchanted timelessness.

Frankie & Zem captured an incredible zen, buddhist, secular-spiritual atmosphere through their ceremony, which included symbolism of the circular, infinite nature of time, love and the present moment. They also included a wine drinking ritual to honour loved family members who had recently passed away.

Amy & Matt's Wedding

Amy & Matt's Fremantle wedding started with a clear vision - a carefree, sun-filled afternoon reminiscent of the couple's summers in the mediterranean.

Amy and Matt wanted a modern, fuss-free wedding that honoured the next step of committment in their relationship while prioritising a fun, relaxed time for their guests.
